Top Moments: Kyra Gangemi nets sock trick and becomes program leader

In a match against Adams State University on April 6, freshman Kyra Gangemi (Elkton, Md.) scored six goals for the Wildcats. She had 10 shots on goal in the contest as the 'Cats fell to the Grizzlies on the road. She finished with seven points, notching an assist on a goal by Katie Smith (Livermore, Calif.). Gangemi's six goals placed her in a tie for seventh place in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) in goals scored in a single game. On the season, she netted 22 goals for the Wildcats and averaged two goals per game. Her 22 goals in a single season moved her into first place on the career goals list ahead of Megan Gilliam (2016 - 16 goals).
