Top Moments: McCorra Ford named All-America Honorable Mention

In March, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced that McCorra Ford (Gillette, Wyo.) was named a 2017 NAIA Division II Women's Basketball All-America Honorable Mention selection.

Ford led Johnson & Wales this season in scoring with 17.7 points per game and 12.3 rebounds per contest. Ford is ranked second in NAIA Division II in defensive rebounds (8.739) and fourth in total rebounds per game (12.348). This past season, Ford was named an A.I.I. All-Conference First Team honoree and was recognized as the A.I.I. Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of January 30-February 5, 2017.

Ford was the second Wildcat to be honored by the NAIA as an All-America Honorable Mention selection. Kristen Ward was recognized in 2015-2016 for her performance on the court.
