Facilities

JWU Denver Athletics Gym, Wildcat Center Wildcat Center
 Home to the Wildcat Gymnasium, fitness center, fitness studio and athletics department, the Wildcat Center plays host to both men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams for practice and competitions. The facility holds approximately 550 fans, and features floor side seating. This facility is located on the northwest corner of the campus. Gameday parking is available without a permit required for all Wildcat home competitions in the North and South chapel lots located off Oneida and Olive streets.

From I-70 East or West

  • Exit onto Quebec Street South (Exit 278)
  • Follow Quebec Street for roughly 2 miles
  • Turn right onto Montview Boulevard (university is on left)
  • Turn left onto Olive for gymnasium and parking
  • Wildcat Center is located on the corner of Montview and Olive
  • Entrance is located on the south side of building

From I-25 North or South

  • Exit onto Colorado Boulevard North
  • Follow Colorado Boulevard North for 3 miles
  • Turn right onto Montview Boulevard (directly across from Denver Museum)
  • Follow for about 2 miles; the campus will be on your right
  • Turn right onto Olive for gymnasium and parking
  • Wildcat Center is located on the corner of Montview and Olive
  • Entrance is on the south side of building

Fitness Center
 img Athletics Fitness Center 170x150 The Fitness Center promotes health and wellness on campus. The center offers a wide range of fitness equipment for student, faculty and staff use, including free weights, strength training, cardio equipment, jump ropes, medicine balls and Swiss balls for core training. The hours of operation are: Mon-Thur, 6am-11pm; Fri, 6a-8p; Sat-Sun, 8am-8pm. Located just off the fitness center is the new Fitness Studio which will be home to fitness classes, dance team rehearsals and other groups.

Sand Volleyball Court
 The sand volleyball court is open year-round (weather permitting). It is the home to several intramural leagues and tournaments. The court is located in the courtyard outside of the Johnson and Wales residence halls.

Outdoor Basketball Court
 Open year-round (weather permitting), this open basketball court is home to tournaments, shooting contests and recreational play. The court is located between Johnson & Wales Residence Halls.

Intramural Field
 All intramural field sports are played on the Coors Family Commons located in front of Gaebe Hall.
