Men's Basketball releases 2010-11 schedule

Coach Jeff Culver and the Wildcats announced their 2010-11 season schedule today. The Wildcats begin their quest for their third consecutive Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Conference Championship with several road matches, the first two being at McPherson College and Bethany College the weekend of November 5 and 6. The Wildcats then travel to Orange City, Iowa to take on Dordt College and host Northwestern.

JWU opens their home schedule on Friday, November 19 at 7pm hosting a four team tournament featuring conference rival Northern New Mexico College, Cal Maritime Academy and Holy Names University. As soon as the Wildcats wrap up their tournament they again play host on Sunday, November 21 to Lewis & Clark College.

Johnson & Wales will then spend the next six games on the road facing off against teams like Black Hills State, Texas A&M International, Colorado State-Pueblo and Montana State-Bozeman. The Wildcats will finish off 2010 with three games against Sterling College, University of Saint Mary and Bethany College.

January finds the Wildcats traveling across the US for games in Michigan, Ohio, South Dakota, New Mexico and Arizona. JWU will finish their season at home hosting Colorado Christian and Northern New Mexico.

Johnson & Wales was again selected to host the A.I.I. Conference Championships on February 25 and 26. The winner of the tournament will earn a berth to the NAIA Division II National Tournament in Branson in early March.
