Men's Basketball picks up win at Bethany College

Johnson & Wales finished their first Kansas road trip of the season with a 84-72 win over the Bethany College Swedes on Saturday afternoon. JWU outshot 50 percent from the floor with 10 from beyond the arc. The Wildcats went 16 of 20 from the charity stripe while outrebounding the Swedes 36 to 22.

Corey Puckett had a team high 20 points for the Wildcats while Eric Gardzina had a career high 19 points and 18 rebounds. Chris O'Neal dished out a game high 5 assists for JWU. Trey Beachum had 22 points for the Swedes.

Johnson & Wales (2-4, 0-1) will return to Kansas next weekend with games against Sterling College and Tabor College.
