Wildcats stumble in road loss at South Dakota Mines

Johnson & Wales struggled with their shots all night and finished the evening with just 52 points in a loss to South Dakota School of Mines. The 'Cats offensive problems were evident early as they finished the first half down 20 points and shooting just 32 percent.

The second half didn't look much better for the Wildcats going 9-of-30 and bringing down 29 rebounds. Cody Derner led Wildcat scorers with 11 points and Cedric Ennis, Jake Campbell and Chris O'Neal each had five rebounds. Tanner Friesen had 19 points for the Hardrockers and Michael Dietz brought down 9 boards. SDSMT had 21 points off Wildcat turnovers in the 52-88 loss for JWU.
