Kansas City, Mo. -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced on Monday that 176 Division II Men's basketball student-athletes have been recognized as 2018 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Johnson & Wales University was represented with the selections of Dakota Patton (Loveland, Colo.) and Bailey Stephens (Flagstaff, Ariz.). This is the first time each has been honored with the award.
In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor. You can view the full list of honorees here.
