JWU competes in home duel

Johnson & Wales faced off against Colorado Christian University on Friday afternoon at CommonGround Golf Course in Aurora. The 18-hole competition was an exhibition match for the Cougars.

Alexander Fernandez (St. Johns, Fla.) was the top finisher for Johnson & Wales with a score of 74. Manuel Garcia III (Lakewood, Colo.) shot a 79 on the afternoon and Steven Gadient (Centennial, Colo.) wrapped up the afternoon with a score of 84. Andrew Thimjon (Hillsboro, Ore.) closed out the day with a score of 86.

Johnson & Wales shot 323 as a squad in the match.

The Wildcats will return to action in early Spring.
