Wildcats climb back to #3 in new poll

PARKVILLE, Mo. – For the fifth straight week, California Baptist University is the No. 1 ranked team in the 2011 NAIA Men's Volleyball National Poll.
With its 11-5 overall record and win over Hope International in three sets over the weekend, Cal Bap sits atop this week's poll. Lindenwood University jumped one spot this week to No. 2 with their 11-5 record. The Lions went on the road and beat Missouri Baptist in four sets last Tuesday and took down Graceland at home in five sets on Sunday.
Johnson and Wales University jumped to No. 3 this week without playing a match and St. Ambrose made a big jump from No. 6 last week to No. 4 in this week's poll. The Fighting Bee's had a great week by going 4-0 after defeating St. Xavier, Cardinal Stritch, Moody Bible and Robert Morris. Graceland University is this week's No. 5 team after rolling past Park in three sets and losing in four sets to Hannibal, while losing in five to Lindenwood.
Park University comes in at No. 6 this week and is followed up by Warner University at No. 7 and Clarke University at No. 8 Clarke is 9-7 overall and went 2-0 last week with wins over Moody Bible and Cardinal Stritch. Hannibal-LaGrange is ranked No. 9 this week and rounding out the top 10 list in Missouri Valley.
