XC finishes strong at Rocky Mountain Shootout

JWU competed for their second year at the University of Colorado's Rocky Mountain Shootout on the Buff's South Campus. Travis Pearson and Phillip Keppler represented on the men's side while freshman Bianca Beltran was the sole Wildcat in the women's race. Pearson led Keppler with a  time of 20:48 to finish 236 while Keppler finished at 262 with a time of 32:59 in the men's 8K. Beltran finished the 5.8K with a time of 28:19 to finish 167 among the women.

The Wildcats' next meet will be the Metro State College Invitational on Saturday, October 16.
