Men's Cross Country finishes 6th at A.I.I. Conference Championship

Johnson & Wales traveled to California State San Marcos to take part in the Association of Independent Instutions (A.I.I.) Conference Championship. The Wildcats finished 6th of the 6 teams competing but saw strong representation from Travis Pearson and Phillip Keppler in the final race of the season. The host Cougars won the A.I.I. Championship behind Brett Campfield and Western Nelson who finished 1 and 2 for CSUSM. University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, Soka and Southwestern College also competed.

Pearson led the 'Cats with a 28:41 and a 34th finish. Keppler came across the line just after with a time of 30:41 for a 31st place finish. Joey Fonseca held the middle spot for the Wildcat finishers with a 31:36 while Willie Clayton and Neil Tsosie completed the race with times of 34:37 and 24:59 respectively.
