Johnson & Wales places 3 Wildcats on A.I.I. All-Conference Team

JWU made major strides in women's basketball this season. The Wildcats earned a berth to the first annual Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Conference Tournament in Gary, IN and also secured three spots on the all-conference team. Forwards LyVette Groce (Denver, CO) and Andrea Austin (Colorado Springs, CO) along with guard Kadie Sinohui (Fontana, CA) were selected by the coaches to be some of the best in the A.I.I. Groce led the Wildcats in rebounding averaging 5.82 rpg, while Austin averaged 5.15 rpg and 9.46 ppg. Sinohui led the 'Cats in scoring with 11.46 ppg and added 2.88 assists per game. The Wildcats finished their best season yet and look to build upon their successes of 2009-2010.
