Sarah FitzPatrick named Association of Independent Institutions Female Athlete of the Week

November 2, 2010 - Simon Fraser University's Roman Doutkevitch and Johnson & Wales' Sarah FitzPatrick are the Association of Independent Institutions Male and Female Athletes of the Week, for the week ending November 1, 2010.
A native of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Sarah FitzPatrick posted 16 points, five rebounds and five blocks in a tight loss to Mount Mary College. The Wildcats dropped to 0-2 in the first weekend of play but continue their 2010-11 campaign on the road this weekend against McPherson College and Bethany College.Roman Doutkevitch, a junior midfielder from Lviv, Ukraine, scored two penalty kick goals in two games for the undefeated SFU Clan men's soccer team, as SFU won 5-0 over Northwest Nazarene and 2-0 against Montana State Billings to improve to 16-0-0 on the season.
