Women's Basketball announces 2010-11 season schedule

Johnson & Wales University announced their 2010-11 women's basketball schedule for the Wildcats under first year head coach Jeff Neal.

The Wildcats open their 2010-11 campaign on the road at Midland Lutheran College on October 29 and then face Mount Marty College the next day. JWU will then face McPherson and Bethany on the road followed by away games against University of Saint Mary and Stephens College.

Johnson & Wales will open their home schedule on November 22 at 7pm as they host Bethany College. The Wildcats then hit the road again for games against South Dakota Tech, Black Hills State and Colorado College.

Returning home on December 11 the Wildcats will host Colorado College followed by Kansas Wesleyan on December 17 and University of Saint Mary on December 18. JWU will close out 2010 on a West Coast swing as they match up against Menlo College and Cal State Maritime.

2011 will kick off with JWU hosting College of Saint Mary on January 8 and New Mexico Highlands on January 18. Following those games, the Wildcats will travel to Arizona and New Mexico to play conference opponents Southwestern College and Northern New Mexico as well as New Mexico Highlands.

The final two home games of the season will feature Colorado Christian visiting the Wildcat Center on February 9 and Northern New Mexico making their trip to Denver on February 12. JWU then takes off to Walla Walla University to end their season. The Wildcats look to return to the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Conference Championship in Gary, Indiana hosted by Indiana University-Northwest.
