Kansas City, Mo. -- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that 278 Division II Women's basketball student-athletes have been named 2018 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Representing Johnson & Wales University is Andromeda Sales (Black Hawk, Colo.). This is the second time that Sales has been honored with the award. She was previously recognized last season.
In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
