Jeff has been a girls’ basketball coach for more than 15 years. During his first year at the helm of the JWU program, the Wildcats recorded the most wins in program history. Neal's efforts on the court were recognized with his 2010-11 team securing the second seed to the A.I.I. Conference Tournament. Neal was named the A.I.I. Coach of the Year for the 2010-2011 season.

Most recently, Jeff was the head girls’ basketball coach at Golden High School where the team made the Final 4 in Colorado in 2008, and Jeff was named the 4A Colorado coach of the year by the Denver Post. Jeff was also the head girls’ basketball coach at Summit High School in Breckenridge, Colorado, an assistant coach at ThunderRidge High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado (won the state championship in 2003) and a club coach for Mile Hi Magic and The Force. Jeff’s career record as a high school head coach is 76-25.
Jeff also has over 20 years of experience in the sports and entertainment industry as an attorney, NBA agent, event promoter and entrepreneur. Jeff’s NBA clients included Detlef Schrempf, Shawn Kemp and Steve Kerr. Currently, Jeff is the CEO of Gameday Entertainment, a venue merchandise company whose clients include the Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Memphis Grizzlies, Florida Panthers, NBA All Star Game, University of California, Oregon State University and the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
An Indiana native, Jeff is a 1987 graduate, magna cum laude, of the Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis where he was an associate editor of the Indiana Law Review. Jeff received his B.S. from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana in 1984. Prior to transferring to Ball State, Jeff attended Albion College (NCAA DIII) in Albion, Michigan where he played college basketball from 1980-1982. Jeff currently resides in Golden, Colorado with his wife, Melanie.

The 2011-12 season will be Rachel Caliga’s second as an assistant coach for the Johnson & Wales University Women’s Basketball program.
Prior to her arrival at JWU, Caliga spent the last six seasons with the Dakota Ridge High School Women’s Basketball program as a varsity assistant. She was also the head Women’s Golf coach the past three years. She also has been a coach for the Rocky Mountain Rage Club basketball team the past six summer seasons.
Caliga, who graduated from Regis University in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, was a four-year letterwinner for the Rangers (1999-2003). An All-RMAC performer during her final two years and was also named to the Academic All-RMAC Team all four years. During the 2003-2004, Caliga was a graduate assistant for the Rangers.
During her prep career at Dakota Ridge High School in Littleton, Colorado, Caliga earned many accolades. She led her team to the 1999 4A State Championship, while being named the Most Valuable Player. Also during her senior year she was named The Denver Post’s Ms. Basketball, and Jeffco Female Athlete of the Year. She was a Steinmark Award finalist, and received All-Conference honors the three years she was at Dakota Ridge. During her time at Dakota Ridge, she earned many honors, which were recognized in 2008 when she was inducted in to the Dakota Ridge’s Athletic Hall of Fame, along with the retirement of her jersey.
