Wildcats scorched by CSM Flames

College of Saint Mary entered the Wildcat Center on Saturday and made quick work of the Wildcats in a doubleheader to kick off October. The CSM Flames used a sluggish Wildcat defense to their advantage as they won 3-0 (25-14, 25-15, 25-21) in the morning match. Following a short break Saint Mary again dispatched the Wildcats 3-0 (25-14, 25-18, 25-14) to place JWU at 0-12 on the season.

Juniors Samantha Cordova and Jessica Callan served well for the Wildcats often sparking much of the 'Cats offense. JWU went on several scoring runs in matches throughout the day but couldn't dig themselves out of the deficit they had created.

Johnson & Wales travels to Rangeley, Colorado on Monday to take on Colorado Northwestern and Central Wyoming. The 'Cats return home on Tuesday, October 12 at 7pm hosting the Colorado Christian University Cougars.
