'Cats drop match to NMHU Cowgirls

JWU found their momentum in the second set of their 0-3 (5-25, 22-25, 8-25) loss to the Cowgirls, but couldn't regain the same power to handle NMHU falling to 0-3 on the season.

The Wildcats had .207 attacking in their hard fought second set, but just managed -.176 and -.182 in the first and third set. Darian Johnson and Katie Rear each contributed 4 kills for the night while Jessica Callan added 10 digs.

Johnson & Wales will face Southwest Oklahoma and Oklahoma Panhandle in the second and final day of the Invitational.
