Abby Gonzalez commits to Johnson & Wales

Coach Lara Bossow and staff are pleased to announce Abby Gonzalez as our next verbal commitment for 2011.  Abby is an Outside Hitter for Colorado Springs Altitude  where she has played for the past 3 years.  She received three varsity letters for her sophomore, junior and senior seasons at William J. Palmer High School, where she also holds a 3.8 GPA.  Among her many volleyball awards, she has earned all state academic first team for the past two years, and all league second team this past high school season.  Abby has lived in Colorado for 10 years and has 2 older siblings, one at UCCS and the other attending Colorado School of Mines.  She plans to major in the Culinary Arts program here at JWU.
