Wildcats XC announce 2011 schedule

Coach David Woolever announced the 2011 cross country schedule for Johnson & Wales University this afternoon. The Wildcats will open their season on September 3 at the University of Colorado Time Trial/Alumni Run. The following weekend, the 'Cats are off to Colorado Springs for the UCCS Rust Buster Invitational at Monument Valley Park on September 10. JWU will return to Monument valley Park on September 17 for the Colorado College Invitational.

In October, JWU Cross Country will return to Boulder for the University of Colorado Rocky Mountain Shootout on October 1. It's across town to Washington Park on October 8 for the Metro State Invitational with the regular season ending on October 22 at the RMAC Championship Open Race. The Wildcat will then travel to California State University - San Marcos for the A.I.I. Championship on November 5. The top teams and individual runners from around the country will be extended an invitation to the NAIA National Cross Country Championships in Vancouver, Washington on November 19.
