51 Wildcats named A.I.I. Academic All-Conference

Overland Park, Kan. -- The Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) announced on Wednesday that Johnson & Wales University had 51 student-athletes recognized as A.I.I. Academic All-Conference honorees for the 2015-16 academic year. To be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must have completed two consecutive terms and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher. 

"It's exciting to see so many of our student-athletes recognized for their hard work," said Assistant Director of Athletics Mike Gallegos. He continued to say, "we know our student-athletes give their all in the classroom and it's great to see such a large number of these Wildcats honored for their committment."
