DENVER – Grades are now complete for the 2018-19 fall term, and as a whole Johnson & Wales student-athletes performed very admirably with an overall GPA of 3.12. That's an increase from a 3.06 GPA for the fall term of 2017-18.
A total of 27 JWU student-athletes posted a perfect 4.0 GPA for the term, another increase from fall of 2017 when 21 Wildcats were at a 4.0. In fact, the 27 GPAs of 4.0 were more than any one term from the 2017-18 academic year.
Nearly half of JWU Denver student-athletes made the Dean's List, as 66 of the 160 earned the distinction with a GPA of 3.40 or higher.
Women's soccer earned the highest team GPA at 3.72, followed by women's cross country/track & field (3.70) and men's basketball (3.35). Men's golf (3.25), women's basketball (3.24), men's cross country/track & field (3.13), women's lacrosse (3.05) and women's volleyball (3.23) each had a team GPA of 3.0 or better.
