Lacrosse programs to honor seniors Saturday

DENVER – Both Johnson & Wales University lacrosse teams will be honoring their seniors during a doubleheader Saturday against SCAC rival Dallas University. Senior Day festivities will take place before each respective contest.

The twin bill begins with the JWU Denver men's team hosting the Crusaders at 11 a.m. at Aurora Sports Park.

Two Wildcat seniors will be recognized before the game –attacker Deshaunte Longley, a Culinary Arts/Food Service Management major from the Bronx, NY, and defender Robert Wanzer, an Applied Psychology major from Poughkeepsie, NY.

The JWU Denver women's team is slated to face Dallas at approximately 2 p.m. at ASP. The Wildcats will be honoring three student-athletes before the game – Katie Smith, a defender/midfielder majoring in Sports, Entertainment Event – Management from Livermore, CA; Kaitlyn Warner, an attacker from Altamonte Springs, FL majoring in Applied Psychology; and Kyleigh Crespo, an attacker/midfielder from Colorado Springs majoring in Sports, Entertainment, Event – Management.

Admission to both games is free.
