DENVER – Five Johnson & Wales University teams posted a GPA of 3.0 or better for the spring term, led by women's soccer with a 3.65. JWU Denver women's soccer also finished with the best GPA for the 2018-19 academic year at 3.66.
As a whole, Wildcat student-athletes finished with a 3.09 GPA for the academic year and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.11.
Women's cross country/track was one of seven JWU teams to record a 2018-19 GPA of 3.0 or better with a 3.65 after a 3.56 for the spring term. Women's basketball (3.39), volleyball (3.36), men's cross country/track (3.23), men's basketball (3.03) and men's golf (3.00) also met the 3.0 mark for the year.
Fifty-two JWU Denver student-athletes earned their way onto the Dean's List for the spring term (3.40 or better), accounting for more than 40 percent of student-athletes on campus. Eighteen Wildcats had a perfect 4.0 GPA for the spring term.
