DENVER - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) on Friday announced the final results of its annual "Change for the Better Campaign," a friendly contest among its members to see which school can raise the most money for the charity of its choice.
The Johnson & Wales University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) finished fourth in the league by collecting $383.66 for Special Olympics Colorado. That total was more than last year's amount of $376.67, which was good for third place in 2019.
Texas Lutheran University raised the most money in the SCAC this year as the Bulldogs brought in $1,571.90 to be donated to the Abby Owens Cancer Fund.
