Alicia Roth was appointed Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) for Johnson & Wales University in January 2018. In her SWA role, Roth is charged with enhancing the representation of female experience and perspective at the institutional, conference and national levels and support women’s interests. Roth also advises the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Roth began her tenure at Johnson & Wales in July 2017 as head women's volleyball coach. She joined JWU after serving as associate head coach at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. As a member of the Demon's coaching staff, she worked with the NSU setters and defensive specialists. Roth served as recruiting coordinator for Northwestern State as well as managed fundraising and travel.
Prior to NSU, Roth was a graduate assistant for two seasons at Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. As a graduate assistant, Roth expanded on her duties to assume many responsibilities of a full-time assistant and worked with the Camel's defensive players. She handled summer camps and CU volleyball's social media.
Roth played collegiately at Samford University, where she was a four-year letterwinner and was named captain in her senior season. Roth earned her Bachelors degree from Samford in Sports Administration and her Masters degree from Campbell University in Education.
