Mott enters her fifth year as Director of Athletics at Johnson & Wales University’s Denver Campus. In the last four years, JWU has added seven varsity programs under the guidance of Mott and has seen men's and women's cross country as well as track qualify its first national championship participants. Johnson & Wales University has seen great strides in the success of its programs including postseason berths for women's volleyball, men's soccer and men's and women's basketball.
Mott most recently has served as Associate Athletic Director for Compliance at Metropolitan State University, an NCAA Division II institution in Denver. At Metro State, Mott oversaw compliance as well as baseball, men’s soccer and women’s basketball. In her work with the Roadrunners, she also served on several committees, including as the chair of the NCAA Division II women's basketball committee, chair of the Division II Central Region women's basketball committee.
Prior to joining Metro State, Mott was an associate commissioner for NCAA Division II’s Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) where she managed among other areas: officials, compliance, fundraising and operations. Before joining the RMAC, Mott spent five years as head women’s basketball coach and senior woman administrator at Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English education from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas, and received her master’s degree in English from Fort Hays State University in 1996.
Mott is tasked with oversight of the thirteen sports programs as well as growing department programming and support of Wildcat Athletics.
