DENVER – For the fourth time this season, a member of the Johnson & Wales University men's basketball team has been recognized as the SCAC Player of the Week.
Senior guard Andrew Romero III earned the honor Monday for Week 11 after averaging 32.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.0 steals in wins over Texas Lutheran and Southwestern.
The Bulldogs and Pirates began the week first and second in the SCAC standings before JWU's weekend sweep, vaulting the Wildcats to second place and just a half-game behind TLU.

With three games remaining on JWU's slate, Romero III leads the SCAC in scoring (24.7 ppg), ranks sixth in rebounding (6.9), seventh in assists (3.3) and second in steals (2.2.) Herman leads the league in assists (4.0) and steals (3.0) and is second in scoring (21.2) and fourth in rebounding (7.1).
