Wildcats drop SCAC matchup at Colorado College

COLORADO SPRINGS - The Johnson & Wales University men's basketball team fell 88-56 at Colorado College in an SCAC matchup at Reid Arena on Friday night. 

Freshman Andray Thomas Jr. led JWU Denver (2-19, 1-13) with 17 points, nine rebounds and two steals. Classmate Kaleb Atherley added 14 points, six rebounds and three blocks while sophomore Shyreef Robins scored a career-high 13 points for the Wildcats. Jaerron Hunter totaled six points, eight boards and six assists. 

Cooxooeii Black led the Tigers (6-14, 4-10) with 20 points. 

JWU led by four multiple times in the first nine minutes but found themselves trailing 37-25 at halftime. CC led by as many as 37 in the second half and finished with a 44-20 edge in the paint and a 44-6 advantage in bench pionts. 

The Wildcats return to the Wildcat Center on Friday to host Trinity University.
