CONWAY, Arkansas – The Johnson & Wales University men's lacrosse team fell 29-1 in a road game at Hendrix College on Friday night.

Senior Deshaunte Longley (Bronx, NY) scored the Wildcats' goal at the 1:03 mark of the second quarter, an unassisted score following a faceoff won by Israel Trejo (Aurora, CO).

Alec Davis scored five times to lead the Warriors (4-2) to their second straight victory. Hendrix out-shot JWU (1-4) 25-0 in the first quarter to open up a 13-0 lead. The hosts then led 20-1 at halftime and 24-1 after three quarters.

Trejo scooped up a team-high six ground balls for the Wildcats while Austin Cruz (Pearland, TX) finished with 13 saves on 42 shots.

The Wildcats will next face Centenary's club team on Sunday, then return home to host Salve Regina JV on Thursday, March 14.
