Men's track competes at Wichita State Invite

WICHITA, KS - Freshman Gaven Case upped his school record in the long jump with a mark of 5.61 meters at Friday's Wichita State College Invitational. Case also placed 31st in the 60-meter dash in 7.53 and 20th in the 200 in 24.61. 

Junior Emad Bashir-Mohammed took home the best individual finish for the Wildcats, placing fourth in the 3,000-meter run in 9:18.52. Freshman Oticio Herrera finished two spots back in sixth with a time of 9:40.93 while Keenan Rimbert came in at 10:34.35.

Senior John Jacob finished fifth in the 1 mile, clocking in at 4:26.24 while classmate Bryce Moore was 10th in 4:40.67. 

Freshman Albara Mutleq posted a PR by 4 seconds in the 400, finishing 13th in the race with a time of 54.49.
