Wildcats finish 8th to open season at Terry Masterson

HUTCHINSON, KS -- Senior John Jacob placed 11th with a time of 21:55.3 to lead the Johnson & Wales University men's cross country team in its 2019 season opener Friday night at the Terry Masterson Twilight Classic. 

Senior Bryce Moore finished 38th (23:41.3) and sophomore Noah Llerandi placed (24:36.9) 55th as the Wildcats were 8th as a team with a score of 212.

Freshmen Keenan Rimbert (25:50.0) and Parker Harris (25:53.0) made their JWU Denver debuts and finished back-to-back (69th and 70th, respectively) while sophomore Cody Lane was 78th to round out the scoring for JWU. 

The Wildcats return to action Saturday, Sept. 14 at the Bronco Stampede in Hastings, Neb.
