Jacob places 3rd at New Mexico Highlands

LAS VEGAS, NM -- Senior John Jacob's third-place finish in a time of 26:51 led the Johnson & Wales University men's cross country team at Saturday's New Mexico Highlands XC Jam. 

Fellow JWU Denver senior Bryce Moore clocked in at 27:27 in the 8-kilometer race to place fifth while sophomore Noah Llerandi was 14th in 28:58. 

Freshman Keenan Rimbert placed 23rd (30:36), sophomore Cody Lane came in 26th (30:59) and sophomore Evan Salazar was 40th (30:51) as the Wildcats finished runner-up in the team standings with a score of 54.
