John Jacob sets school record at FHSU Open

HAYS, KS - Senior John Jacob etched his name atop the school record book at Saturday's Fort Hays State University Open. Jacob's 8-kilometer time of 26:14.5 broke Alberto Rodriguez's previous program record of 26:15.6. 

Jacob placed 13th individually to lead the Johnson & Wales University men's cross country team to a 10th place finish. Senior Bryce Moore placed 28th with a season-best time of 26:58.5.

Sophomore Noah Llerandi was third on the team with a time of 29:09.8, followed by freshman Keenan Rimbert (30:11.5) and sophomore Evan Salazar (36:59.6).
