Bahr named Head Women's Lacrosse Coach

Johnson & Wales University is proud to announce that Mallory Bahr has been named Head Women's Lacrosse Coach.

Bahr joins JWU after serving as head coach at Tennessee Wesleyan University in Athens, Tenn. Under Bahr's leadership, the Bulldogs finished the season with an 11-4 record and Bahr brought in TWU's largest recruiting class. Prior to Tennessee Wesleyan, Bahr served as Head Coach at Beloit College in Beloit, Wisc. At Beloit, Bahr served as strength and conditioning coordinator as well as developed the game plans for the Buccaneers in Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference action.

Bahr began her collegiate coaching career at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama where she served as Assistant Coach. As an assistant for the Hawks, Bahr was responsible for recruiting and planning team conditioning. She was also in charge of maintaining academic plans for each member of the team.

Bahr received her Bachelor's Degree in Sports Management from North Central College.

On her appointment, Director of Athletics Tom Byrnes said, "We're excited for the enthusiasm that Mallory will bring to the program. She is a great addition to our staff as we grow not only our lacrosse program, but also as we continue to develop all of Wildcat Athletics on the Denver campus."
