Wildcats fall to Hawks

KANSAS CITY – The Johnson & Wales University women's lacrosse team played its final regular season road game of the 2019 season on Saturday, falling 26-0 at Rockhurst University.

The host Hawks led 16-0 at halftime on the way to improving their record to 8-6 this season. Audrey Ford scored four goals to lead Rockhurst.

Junior Ashley Guerrero (Downey, CA) and senior Katie Smith (Livermore, CA) had one shot on goal each for the Wildcats (2-11).

Freshmen Brigid McCollam (New Fairfield, CT) and Julianna Lozada (Poway, CA) had two ground balls each for the Wildcats while McCollam made 11 saves.

JWU wraps up the regular season next week with a pair of home games at Aurora Sports Park, hosting Loras on Tuesday and SCAC conference foe Dallas on Saturday.
