Why did you choose JWU Denver?
I chose to attend JWU because I knew I wanted to further my culinary education without limiting my general education, and JWU offers that. I originally considered attending JWU Providence, but decided for my family's sake to attend JWU Denver and I have NO REGRETS!
What is your favorite memory competing for JWU?
My favorite game-related memory is celebrating the little things. Anytime a goal was scored I would run down to Brigid, our goalie, and we would do a chest-bump thing, regardless of what the overall score looked like. We would celebrate if someone played a good body-D, just tried our best to uplift each other and stay unified as a team.
What is your favorite memory from JWU women's lacrosse outside of a game?
My favorite non-game related memory from the lacrosse team are literally all of them from all of our trips across the country, but one that comes to mind is the Escape Room we did for team bonding in Atlanta, Georgia this past month. It was challenging, exhilarating and just and all-around great time working with my team.
What will you miss most about being on the women's lacrosse team?
One thing I will truly miss from being on the lacrosse team is just spending time with the girls and our coaches. This team has formed a great part of my life for the last 3 years and I'm for sure going to miss not having them around all the time anymore.
What is your major?
The degrees I've worked for and I'm working on are a Culinary Arts Associates of Science (2018) and a Business Studies Bachelors of Science (2020).
What are your plans after JWU?
Unclear. It is unclear what my plans after JWU will be, but I am working on securing an entry level administrative position with Marriott hotels.
