SHREVEPORT, La. - The Johnson & Wales University women's soccer team began SCAC play with a tough 1-0 overtime loss at Centenary on Friday night at Mayo Field.

Celeste Muniz scored an unassisted goal in the 14th minute of overtime to lift the hosts to victory, keeping the Ladies unbeaten on the season (9-0, 1-0).

JWU (2-8, 0-1) senior goalie Katelyn Peters made six first-half saves to keep the Wildcats even and finished with seven for the conest.

The Wildcats had five of their seven total shots on goal, one each by Kayta Arbuthnot, Natasha Martin, Samantha Roybal, Rebecca Brock and Katherine Owings
